Anglesey is undoubtedly known for it's natural beauty, with stunning coastal views, to beautiful countryside scenery. However, Anglesey has so much more to offer, making it a must-visit location in North Wales. Below are just a few places that we would reccomend you visit whilst you stay with us!
Anglesey Transport Museum
If you fancy a walk down memory lane, then the Anglesey Transport Museum is the place to be. The museum is located in large outside sheds, housing a vast range of classic cars, motorcycles, tractors, military vehicles and even an old jet plane. After experiencing your blast from the past around the museum, there’s a café on site serving delicious food, from homemade paninis and sandwiches to breakfasts that will leave you satisfied all day! There’s also a great little outside play area for the kids to enjoy while you wait for your food! A perfect all round family day out!
Pili Palas
Pili Palas translated into English is the Butterfly Palace. You can walk through the butterflies whilst they flutter around over your head. Though this is not the main attraction for sure! With creepy crawlies and meerkats, rabbits, and goats there’s so much more to see. Outside children play area with ride on tractors, and mini diggers. If this has worn you out, you can grab yourself a coffee and a bite to eat at the café whilst the kids enjoy the indoor soft play!
Zip World
If your looking for that adrenaline rush, exhilarating experience, look no further! Zip World hosts the fastest zip line in the world. The zip line can reach crazy jaw dropping speeds of 100mph over the Penrhyn Quarry Lake. If you’d prefer to observe rather that take the plunge down the line, there’s a restaurant on site which allows you to watch everyone in action, with the Snowdonia Mountain views in the background. If you prefer your feet firmly on the ground the quarry karts may be more your cup of tea, a go karting type experience with an off-roading twist!
Green Wood
Green Wood is perfect for a real family adventure. With roller coasters and water slides to mazes and tree top towers Green Wood is the perfect family day out in the woods! There's also a selection of live shows and arts and crafts workshop or soft play centre for your little ones to get involved. There's so many different things for the children to enjoy they simply wont want to leave!
